Wednesday’s Love List – Modcloth Fall Favorites

Is it really Wednesday again? Well I’m back with yet another edition of Wednesday’s Love List and this week I’m highlighting one of my go to on-line shops, ModCloth. I can’t tell you how many things I have ordered from them over the last few years, Modcloth is the first place I go when I’m in the market for another vintage inspired piece and they never disappoint. Aside from their amazing clothes, I absolutely love the reviews, complete with customers measurements and sizes and the super easy free returns. It makes the entire on-line shopping experience so much more enjoyable.

1. I have this same dress in black and I love it, so imagine my excitement when I saw this plaid one.

2. I have wanted this satchel for a while now. It is a little out of my usual price range, but it’s classic color and style make it worth investing in.

3. I literally gasped when I saw this coat! It’s beautiful red color and fit & flare style make it my dream coat.

4. This hat is cozy and adorable! It is also the perfect neutral color to go with all of my fall and winter coats.

5. You know I love a midi skirt and this black and ivory plaid is perfection. The color and style are so versatile and would work for all seasons no matter where you live.

6. I fell in love with this top the second I saw it. That collar with cats on it, I mean come on, it’s killing me with cuteness! (It’s not available to order yet, but it will be soon, so keep your eyes out for it.)

I know that there are a lot of Modcloth fans out there, so I would love to know what items you are loving this fall. Happy Wednesday!:)

Truly,

Tamara

The 90’s was my decade and I’m really loving the return of 90’s fashion. I mean, I still watch My So-Called Life and wish I could be Angela Chase, which could have something to do with Jordan Catalano….. but I digress ;). I’m pretty sure I owned a baby doll dress almost exactly like this one back in high school! Just add a jean jacket and some black oxfords and I guess you would call this look retro. Wow, does that make me feel old! I bought this dress from Forever 21 at the beginning of summer and I have worn it a lot. It’s super soft and lightweight, which makes it perfect for warmer weather. Pair it with tights, boots, and a jacket and it works for fall/winter too. I sure hope this is a trend that sticks around for a while longer :).

I had a very productive weekend. I cleaned house and actually went grocery shopping on Saturday! Something I usually avoid at all costs, because I HATE grocery shopping! I’m a horrible meal planner, so I just end up standing there staring at the shelves until I ultimately buy a bunch of random things. I guess I’m an ok cook, but I do not enjoy it like some people do. The whole process is a necessary evil as far as I’m concerned, because we do have to eat after all. Although I would be just fine with going out to eat everyday if it wasn’t so expensive ;). Anyway, enough about grocery shopping! My good friend Heather came over yesterday and we talked for hours about some exciting things that we are working on together. I’m really looking forward to what the future holds and finally feel like I am starting to head down the right path. I can’t wait until I can share more about this with all of you! So all in all, I would say it was a pretty great weekend. I hope yours was too!

Truly,

Tamara

Nautical accessories

I bought this dress from Target last year to wear for the 4th of July and I almost forgot about it! I love the nautical vibe and the strapless style that make it perfect for hot summer days. Just layer with a cute cropped cardigan and you are good to go for the air conditioned indoors. I am always cold, so I usually need some sort of sweater or jacket. This cropped cardigan from Modcloth was exactly what I had been looking for to layer with all of my fit and flare dresses. I have it in a few different colors and it has become another year round staple in my wardrobe. I don’t know why, but I have found it hard to find cropped cardigans in stores, so as with so many other things Modcloth has been my go to on-line source. Let me know in the comments below if you know of any other places that carry them in store for a reasonable price. My Saltwater sandals have become my favorite summer shoes. They are crazy comfortable and have a super cute retro look! They come in a ton of different colors and I want all of them (obviously). I’m sure you will be seeing them featured in many different outfit posts this summer and for many summers to come ;).

I have some exciting things in the works that hopefully I will be able to share with you all soon! Happy Monday and I hope you have a great week! :)

Truly,

Tamara
